In honor of Women’s History Month, you’re invited to Helen Keller & Her 21st Century Renaissance with Beth Haller on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in Beckman Hall 404.
Join us from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for a presentation on the life of Helen Keller, followed by discussion with Haller from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. (refreshments included!).
Finally Keller can be embraced not only as an iconic deaf-blind celebrity, but as a significant progressive thinker of the 20th century. Beth Haller, Professor of Mass Communication of Townson University will discuss her new edited collection,

of Helen Keller. Professor Haller was a Board Member of the Society for Disability Studies and Co-editor of Disability Studies Quarterly.
