The Cypress Street Mural exhibit opened on September 13, 2017, and runs through January 5, 2018. The title of the project is:  My Barrio: Emigdio Vasquez and Chicana/o Identity in Orange County.

The opening night was a huge success with well over 100 people coming out to see the beautiful art and listen to the live band.

Chapman University is one of 70 institutions in Southern California that is participating in Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA—an initiative of the Getty in which arts institutions across Southern California joining together to explore the vast subject of Latin American and Latino Art in dialogue with Los Angeles.
