The students in the Intersection of Art and Science will be participating in the open house at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena this coming weekend by displaying their final art projects made based on spacecraft design they made with the 3D modeling program, MAYA. JPL will be open to the public to show the latest missions and further designs and technologies of unmanned spacecraft.

The annual Open House at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena welcomes over 38,000 visitors. This year’s theme is “Great Journey’s,” inviting visitors to share in the wonders of space through high-definition and 3-D videos, live demonstrations, interactions with scientists and engineers, and a first look at JPS’s new Earth Science Center.
