Italian Film Screening of Golden Door

Wilkinson College
and the Italian Studies Program is very excited to be hosting a free film screening titled,
Golden Door
, a 2006 Italian film directed by Emanuele Crialese.

The film is based on an Italian families’ journey to the new world. Salvatore, a very poor farmer, decides to emigrate to the United States with his family. Together, with a mysterous lady named Lucy, they take the long and difficult journey.

This free screening is on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at 7 p.m. in Argyros Forum, 208.
