Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Peace Studies Program is pleased to announce, “An Evening with David Grossman” on Wednesday, November 9th at 7pm in the Chapman Auditorium, Memorial Hall.
David Grossman, the internationally acclaimed Israeli writer, will read from his latest novel, To the End of the Land and speak about his writing that embodies the histories, events and challenges of his native land. His eight novels, two journalistic accounts, and other works, have been translated into more than thirty languages leading to numerous international awards. While his novels do not directly address the ongoing conflicts, they address these events from the inside out. His extended essays explore the political scene more directly and address the humanity and fears of Palestinians and Israelis alike.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact, Nadia Arriaga at 714-516-6130 or via-email at arriaga@chapman.edu.
