Lauren Belzer ’19 – Manager, Social Media & Communications

You may have noticed an uptick in activity on the Argyros social media accounts lately, and that is for good reason! Lauren Belzer, an alumna from the Class of 2019, joined the Argyros School team in December 2022. She was most recently a Content Marketing Manager and Creative Project manager at makesy, a freelance Social Media Manager for a variety of small businesses in and around Orange County, and a Social Media Specialist for NP Digital based out of San Diego. Lauren graduated from Chapman with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing Emphasis and a minor in Graphic Design. As Manager of Social Media and Communications, Lauren manages all of the Argyros School’s social media accounts, and heads up all content marketing and communication plans in an effort to elevate the Argyros School’s brand and public profile.

Why Chapman

When asked about what she enjoys about being at Chapman University, Lauren mentioned that it’s special to be back at her alma mater sharing the stories about what makes Chapman and the Argyros School such a special place to attend school. She said it’s also extremely cool to get to showcase all the amazing things that students, alumni, and faculty are doing that might otherwise go unnoticed!

“While working in higher education is new to me, I have an affinity for Chapman and the Argyros School, considering it is my alma mater. There is something truly special about this campus and this business school that made accepting the job here a no-brainer” she said. “While it’s strange to be on campus as an employee and not a student, I’m constantly reminded of special memories from my student years while making new memories while I work here!”

Get to Know Lauren

When Lauren’s not on campus, you can find her jet-setting off to a new location as she loves to travel. Her favorite places to travel domestically include Austin, TX, and Napa Valley, and she loved her post-graduation trip in 2019 to Italy. She hopes to take more international trips soon! She also loves spending time with her Chapman Sweetheart, Max, and her Persian cat, Todd!
