The Leatherby Libraries Hall of Art welcomes a featured student exhibit each semester from the Chapman University campus. This fall, student artist Gabi Abrahamson is showcasing her thought-provoking work to the community through her exhibit, “All of Our Colors.” The exhibit includes strings of paper dolls that were displayed earlier this year, as well as student writings in addition to a series of her own reflective illustrations.

The Leatherby Library invited the community to a reception honoring Gabi and showcasing her art pieces on Friday, October 7, 2016. Gabi’s family and friends as well as community members came to celebrate her work, focusing on diversity and inclusion. This opportunity will also give Gabi the chance to bridge her project with Chapman’s own diversity and inclusion mission. If you’re on campus take a look at the Leatherby Libraries Hall of Art and read some of the student letters. The exhibit is on display through October 27.
