Student Reading Revamp Exhibition Premiers at the Leatherby Libraries February 20 - March 10, 2017
February 22, 2017
Previously displayed at the OC Great Park Common Walls, Professor Rachelle W. Chuang’s Book Design class has moved back home to the Leatherby Libraries! Through March 10, 2017, the Doy and Dee Henley Reading Room on the 2nd Floor will showcase the work of the students from the upper division graphic design class here at Chapman University. Her students have redesigned classic book titles like The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood, Brave New World, Pride and Prejudice, The Martian, Life of Pi and many more. These projects are presented in both poster form as well as printed book jackets. The process of the redesign included researching, designing and producing various concepts for these young illustrators and graphic designers. The Leatherby Libraries is so proud of these students and we are so glad to give them the opportunity to exhibit their work! If are studying in the readying room, take a moment to appreciate the student art!
