National English honor society recognizes Chapman University students with top award
February 19, 2013
The Chapman University chapter of the international English honor society Sigma Tau Delta has been honored with one of the organization’s top awards. Chapman’s Alpha Zeta Iota chapter has been named an Outstanding Chapter by Sigma Tau Delta, just one of four student chapters from among a national membership of 700 to receive the honor this year.
The distinction recognizes the chapter’s membership growth and dynamic activities during the 2011-2012 academic year, says Brian Glaser, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of English and chapter advisor.
“I am very proud of our students, and especially of our past chapter president Sarah Faulkner, who was filled with energy and ideas all year. It was a privilege to work with all of them,” Glaser says.
