a screening and discussion with the director Timothy Hines (
featuring Dr. James Blaylock from the English Department

directed War of the Worlds The True Story, which qualified for the 85th Academy Awards.
Hines has been covered in media sources such as The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, New York Post, Fox News, NBC News, Variety, Forbes, Business Week, The San Francisco Chronicle, SFX Mag, American Screenwriter, Moviemaker Magazine, and World Animation News. He has been featured in many Sci-Fi anthology books such as the acclaimed, The Saucer Fleet, by Jack Hagerty and Jon Rogers. Among his early accomplishments, Hines won the Starlog Star Search, which was presented by Keir Dullea, Star of 2011 A Space Odyssey, and legendary Sci-Fi writer Isaac Asimov.
