You’re invited to the
Laguna Art Museum
on Thursday, October 3 at 7 p.m. for Conversation With…David Michael Lee (Chapman Art Professor).
The Conversation With… series brings artists and other creative minds to Laguna Art Museum to discuss their practice in a casual conversation with guests. Professor Lee will begin with a brief presentation, followed by the rare opportunity for museum visitors to engage with the artist in conversation.
Artist, curator, and instructor
David Michael Lee
was born and raised in Orange County, CA. He earned his BA from Columbia College in Chicago and his MFA from CSU Fullerton, where he was an artist resident at the Grand Central Art Center. David worked as a studio assistant to renowned artist Tony Delap, and has since gone on to teach on the faculty of Coastline College in Newport and at Chapman University. He has had solo exhibitions at the Backroom in Santa Ana, Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana, and l2Kontemporary in Los Angeles, amongst others. Lee is currently the Gallery Director of Coastline Art Gallery in Newport Beach.
