MAIS Students Present Their Research

On Wednesday, May 7, 2014, the fourth graduating cohort of the
M.A. International Studies program
presented their thesis research at the program’s State of Global Affairs Mini Conference. Four panels included topics on issues related to women’s rights; democracy, inclusiveness, and hegemony; social mobilization; and NGOs and Development.
Immediately following the mini-conference, the students celebrated their upcoming graduation with faculty, friends, and family with dinner at Avila’s El Ranchito Orange.
At the dinner five awards were presented:
