Each academic year, Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences presents an award to faculty in areas of research and teaching at the Commencement ceremonies in May. We are excited to announce this year’s winners below. They will each be presented with their awards on Saturday, May 24, 2014.
Excellence in Research and Creative Activities
The Excellence in Research and Creative Productivity award is presented to a Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Science faculty member who has demonstrated extraordinary research success over the last year, including a significant publication, a noteworthy output of creative production or an award of a major grant.

Excellence in Teaching
The Excellence in Teaching award is presented to a Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Science faculty member selected by the graduating class for their outstanding commitment to teaching and mentoring and who have a made a significant contribution to student experience.
