WordTheatre’s fall series at Chapman University brings America’s finest short story writers to Orange for celebrity and student performances. On Monday, October 17, Hollywood actor -Jon Huertas (known for his work on Castle, Generation Kill, Sabrina The Teenage Witch) and student actors, Brandon James Somerville, Aurelio De Anda, and Danraj “Danny” Rajasansi— will bring to life acclaimed short stories written by author Tim O’Brien. O’Brien is the author of The Things They Carried, a collection of short stories inspired by O’Brien’s own experiences while serving in the Vietnam War. The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Fish Interfaith Center at Chapman University.The event is presented by the Department of English and the Master of Arts Program in War and Society.Find out more about this event …
