Numerous Faculty Awarded Creative Scholarly Grants
At the 17th annual faculty honors convocation, Dr. Justin Walsh, Dr. Wendy Salmond, Professor Lia Halloran, and Professor Micol Hebron, were awarded creative scholarly grants for the upcoming 2012-2013 academic year. The Department of Art did very well in earning so many grants!

Student Research Day
The campus-wide student research day was a great success for everyone involved. The morning poster session (9 a.m. -11 a.m.) included posters from students in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. Students, faculty, and staff mingled throughout the posters listening to presenters discuss their projects.

Studio Art Students Selected for Prestigious Exhibition

Motion Design Class
The department’s motion design class allows students to obtain the introductory skill set needed to explore issues of rhythm, space and time animation, and sound and video in motion design.
