Check out these great photos from our recent event at the First Cut 2013 screening in Los Angeles!

Every year, recent alumni and students gather with their faculty, families, and friends, to celebrate the best work from the academic year, commemorated in the Leo Freedman First Cut: Premiering the Filmmakers of Tomorrow Showcase.  Winning students receive grants from the Leo Freedman Foundation, and their short films are included on a DVD which is sent to various industry players and film festivals.  In addition, the featured films play at bi-coastal shows, at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, and New York.  It’s a huge honor for the winning filmmakers, and a great opportunity for all students and alumni to network and share their passions for film.

Take a look at what happened this year in Los Angeles, and head on over to our Flickr album to view even more photos from the event!
