Last month, we informed you we would push security updates to Chapman-owned Apple devices. To keep your devices updated and secure, we will soon introduce automatic macOS updates to these devices, bringing you the latest features, bug fixes, and enhanced security effortlessly.

Why Automatic macOS Updates?

We want to ensure you have the best user experience possible, and keeping your operating system up to date is crucial. With automatic macOS updates, you will not have to worry about manually checking for updates or missing out on critical patches. Our automated system will seamlessly deliver the latest macOS versions directly to your devices, ensuring you are always up to date.

The Significance of Data Backup:

Before we dive into the update excitement, let’s take a moment to talk about the importance of backing up your data. While our update process is designed to preserve your files and settings, unexpected issues can arise. That is why it is highly recommended to have a recent backup of your important files and documents. Regular backups provide extra protection, keeping your data safe, even in unlikely scenarios.

Older Operating Systems and Update Time:

If you are running an older macOS version on your computer, the update process may take longer than usual. Updating from an older operating system to a newer one can be more complex, involving additional steps, settings optimization, and addressing compatibility issues. So, if you are in this group, we suggest allocating some extra time for the update process and being patient as the update seamlessly integrates with your device.
