On Saturday, Sept. 15, Art Professor Micol Hebron will be showing a piece of her art in a show called “Fix-It-Up Too“, a reprise of The Fix-It-Up Show, a project first developed by Jeffrey Vallance and Michael Uhlenkott for an exhibition at LACE in 1981.

Several artists were asked to bring in works that they were unsatisfied with or were incomplete and Jeffrey and Michael “fixed” them.

For the 2012 version fixers Barbara Bloom, Meg Cranston, Lisa Lapinski, Stephen Prina, Jim Shaw, Alexis Smith, Michael Uhlenkott and Christopher Williams will alter works donated by 100 known artists. Hosted by Blum and Poe in Culver City.

This is a benefit exhibition for SASSAS (The Society for the Activation of Social Space through Art and Sound).
