Wilkinson Student Awarded Doti Outstanding Graduate Student Award for a Masters Degree

Congratulations are in order for M.A. International Studies student Valentina Marinac who has been awarded with the “Doti Outstanding Masters degree Graduate student Award” at Chapman University for the 2012-2013 academic year.
After careful consideration and consultation, Dr. Doti has graciously agreed to fund two awards each year, one for a doctoral level candidate and one for a masters level student. Marinac’s record indicates a high level of achievement attained so far with great promise for the future and she will receive an award which includes both a sculpture and a check.
Pictured is Marinac with with U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia, Paul D. Wohlers. In the summer of 2012, Marin interned with the United States Department of State, Bureau of European Affairs and Eurasian Affairs. She worked in the Political and Economic Section of U.S. Embassy in Skopje, Macedonia.
