Dr. Jennifer Waldeck, Associate Professor of Communication Studies, has published three chapters in an interdisciplinary volume on social problems, published by  Bridgepoint (2013).  Coauthored by Patricia Kearney and Tim Plax, the titles of these chapters are: Violence  as a Social Problem; The Changing American Family; and Gender Socialization, Sexual Orientation,  and Inequality.  These chapters examine, in part, communication variables as causes and correlates of social problems and in potential solutions to these issues.

Additionally, she contributed a chapter entitled “The Role of Communication in Strategic Management” to the volume Strategic Management for Organizations edited by Stanley Abraham  (Bridgepoint, 2012).
