Chapman University’s very own Vice President and Chief Information Officer Helen Norris recently co-authored an article  for the Educause Review newsletter on developing security profiles to assess information security risks within a university setting, ideas on technical tools and techniques to help in reducing those risks, and how to measure whether those techniques are actually effective. Helen’s talents extend well beyond authoring articles and leading Chapman University’s technology teams. As a recognized leader the field of information technology, Helen currently serves on the board for the Southern California Society of Information Management and the National Endowment for Financial Education. Helen was also a returning panelist at this year’s CIOsynergy event in downtown Los Angeles where she and other industry thought leaders spoke to attendees on the future of information technology.

Helen is also a regular presenter for Women in Technology International, an international organization centered around helping women advance within the information technology field. WITI is hosting an upcoming event right here at Chapman University this coming March 16th entitled: Power Questions: Grow Your Career by Asking the Right Questions.
