How do I reopen a Canvas course to resolve an incomplete?
Canvas is set up so that students are unable to access Canvas courses after the course is completed. If you have a student who needs to resolve an incomplete grade, you will need to submit a request to make the course available for that student.
We will create a separate section of the course, with the student and instructor added so that they have a space to work and communicate.
Policies on assigning Incomplete grades can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog and in the Graduate Catalog.
Note: This form can only be submitted by the original instructor of the course. If the original instructor is not available, the request can be submitted by the appropriate Dean or Program Director.
